A Guide to Driving in Spain: Motorways by Sammy Nour

By Sandra Pollock

motorways-in-spain.jpgMotorways:

  1. Drive as close to the car in front of you as you can, if they need to brake or turn, that’s their problem, not yours.
  2. Remember what we learnt about indicating?  Well, if you have to indicate, make sure you do it as late as possible, and leave your indicator on for around 5 miles.  Don’t leave it on any longer, as that would obviously be silly!
  3. Always drive in the middle lane when you can.  This saves petrol and time from having to keep changing lanes.

More to come…
