SanRoo is a small independent publishing company based in Leicester. We aim to encourage writers of all genres and more importantly, all ages, genders and communities.
SanRoo Publishing was set up by a mother and daughter team of writers with the aim of supporting budding and more experienced writers, offering the freedom to create and publish their literature with full author inclusion.
There are voices in our communities that are not being heard in the publishing industry. SanRoo has been set up as a place for those voices to find the space and freedom to be heard.
We offer opportunities for online (on our website), paperback and ebook publishing. In addition, we run workshops, events and offer mentoring and volunteering opportunities. We are passionate about working collaboratively with other groups and organisations to build a positive, supportive and inspiring community of writers.

At SanRoo we are a team of writers, so we know, share some of your views and even your occasional frustration as a writer and we’re here to help where we can.
Sandra Pollock has written all her life but did not have the confidence to publish. Feeling like the publishing industry was a closed and locked environment (especially for female writers), she decided to change that. After going through the publishing process with her daughter’s two books Vircover Petal (2010) and Rage (2012), followed by her own first book Making Changes That Grow Roots (2012). The pair vowed to create and publish their own works in the future. From their experiences and a desire to help other writers, SanRoo Publishing was formed.
