Nightmares
Bad dreams fill my head, worst I’ve ever had
full of hate, rage fuelled days of past, times when life was bad
try to wake, the monsters won’t allow
their claws grip, blood drips, they contain me, stuck now.

Nightmares

full of hate, rage fuelled days of past, times when life was bad
try to wake, the monsters won’t allow
their claws grip, blood drips, they contain me, stuck now.
Fallout
The thunderous cloud erupts out and looms
deadly, deathly silence after the boom.
dust brings an end to our days, we try to flee
as it comes down, falls like petals from a tree.
At SanRoo we are always calling out for Submissions of all genres of writing.
So if you have a Story to tell, however, you want to tell it, send it to us –

the voices surrounding bay for more
wanting blood, only his will do, will make them stop
he cuts, the crimson comes forth in drips and drops.

Sat
watching the clock
tick on.
The spinning wheel
seems timeless.
There’s no place like home.
Cold sweat
burning my forehead,
scratching down my cheek,
and eventually dripping
onto my duvet.
