There is nothing more personally satisfying than to have achieved something which for you was a goal. A goal that you thought you would never achieve.
The official launch of her book Dream Dreams! was for Sandra Pollock an achievement that fit the above description. Writing poetry is something that Sandra has done since she was a child, but believing that her creative work was good enough to share with the world took many years to settle.
In Dream Dreams! Sandra shares a range of poems that chart some of your most personal experiences across many areas of her life. Some humorous, other sensual, and reflective. All written from the heart of what it is to be female.
As one of her reviewers put it ‘this one you’ll re-read’.
The launch itself was a night to remember and set the standard for book launches with SanRoo Publishing at a very high mark.
Guests shared their favourite poems from the book and what the words brought to their minds and hearts as they read them.
