Another Pondering Coffee Poem
Philosophical swirl
of the coffee cup.
‘What if you are your own god,
if god is made in the image of man?”
The words stir
my mind
for a moment.
Another swirl of the cup
before taking a swig.
My pen hesitates
over the page.
I finish my drink,
and I put my notebook
away.
