“Nightmares” by Kyle Coare
Nightmares
Bad dreams fill my head, worst I’ve ever had
full of hate, rage fuelled days of past, times when life was bad
try to wake, the monsters won’t allow
their claws grip, blood drips, they contain me, stuck now.
“Fallout” by Kyle Coare
Fallout
The thunderous cloud erupts out and looms
deadly, deathly silence after the boom.
dust brings an end to our days, we try to flee
as it comes down, falls like petals from a tree.
